Every day I wake up. I feed two little people, one of which normally gets toast and peanut butter, the other is still breastfed exclusively, so we sit down with her while the big brother eats his toast. We play, or watch TV, or read, or…Well, you get the idea. We do something, for some amount of time, until food is needed again. We tend to go for sandwiches or nachos for lunch, and then the little guy goes off on his own for a while, and his sister naps. I use that time to pick up some, maybe get some schoolwork done, and get dinner started if it’s a cooking intensive meal. We’ll eat again, and after the snacks Daddy is normally home so our son goes to pester him while I get the house or school work that I didn’t finish earlier finished. At least in theory it gets finished. We eat dinner, watch TV for a while, then baths and bed.
