My favourite game as a child was a mix between hide and seek and tag. There was an area where if you were caught you’d have to stand and wait for someone to save you. It was more fitted to me as I couldn’t really run very fast so I could sneak around the house and garden like a spy. It made me feel like I was in a movie when I got to rescue someone with out being found and it was a lot of fun. I’d play it with my friends and cousins whenever we got the time.

The Importance of Fire Safety
There is always a high risk of a breakout of fire in any building. Hence, all necessary provisions should be made so that loss to human life and property is minimized. A fire escape ladder should be installed in every house so that a person trapped in a house that has caught fire can quickly climb down the ladder and protect himself. The large fire escape ladder is available in various shapes and sizes. Apart from such ladders, fire detectors should also be installed in a house so that they detect smoke at the earliest. These necessary fire safety provisions should be made in every house so that damages can be minimized as much as possible.
The Hunger Games
I wouldn’t say a book has ever changed my life greatly. My favourite book is The Hunger Games by Suzzane Collins. It was creepy and weird but I loved it. It actually really scared me at some parts which rarely happens to me so I guess that means it did it’s job well. This book helped me through some hard times. I’d gotten some bad news from the hospital about myself, I was ill but this book helped distract me when I was sad. I also made a friend through this book as she liked it too. We’d discuss our favourite parts and our favourite characters and now we are good friends.

Sitcoms
I had to choose, I’d rather watch a sitcom. Why? I grew up with sitcoms. I didn’t always find them funny, I didn’t always understand what was going on but I knew when to laugh and I liked that about them. Sitcoms make me feel comfortable and I’d much rather relax to some mind numbing television than watch a show that forces me to think and to stay up to date with the story line and all the plot twists. Sitcoms are just simple. Simple and easy to watch! And of course, sitcoms just give me a warm feeling inside that everything will all be ok in the end because in the show, it usually is.
Books
If I had $500 to spend at the mall I would buy myself books! I rarely read books but I always feel I should read more. I’ve noticed that people who read books are more intelligent, articulate, clever and funny, and really, what more can we ask from a person! I’d be a hit at all the parties with all my little antidotes and great debating skills if only I had $500 dollars to spend on books. Oh and of course I wouldn’t only buy fiction! I’d buy all sorts of books and become the most knowledable and skilled person in the world!

My Life Fulfilled
When I was 47 years old I had a heart attack and ensuing by-pass surgery. At that point I said to God, “Please, God, I don’t want to die. I’m not afraid to die; I just don’t want to ‘cause I haven’t really lived yet.” Since that time I have become bolder and done things that many people question. I have tried to be true to myself and get that feeling of a life fulfilled so that when my time to die comes I will be ready and won’t have to say “… I haven’t lived yet.” What difference does it make what others think or say anyway? Not one of us is perfect. It gives me great pleasure to be able to say today, “Yes, I have lived a life that has fulfilled me.” If that is selfish it’s okay because those first 47 years I tried to make everyone happy and that is not possible for a human to accomplish. I just needed to realize it.
My Heroes Have Always Been Teachers
The people who have influenced my life for the better were my teachers in a small rural school. They heaped on the positive reinforcement for every small achievement, which in turn caused me to strive to be ever better academically. I was encouraged not to limit my interests to only the required subjects but to reach out to new activities and extracurricular events. For example, with a teacher-sponsor I started a new book club for pre-teens. To the best of my knowledge the school still sponsors the club to this day. It was geared to be just a little ahead of our reading level to enhance comprehension and prod us a little to learn more through books other than our required textbooks. For these teachers who were so generous in positive reinforcement and so loath to criticize, I am grateful.

Itinerary for Free
If I could visit any country without charge, I would choose Austria. The desire to visit this country came from seeing the movie “The Sound of Music” over and over and over. I can only imagine how clear the air over the Swiss Alps and how gorgeous the wildflowers in their season. Edelweiss in person has to be ever so much better than the song, and the song itself is one of my favorites. I would like a very relaxed itinerary so that I could soak in the atmosphere of the country. I’d like the opportunity to inquire of the locals what attractions are “must sees,” which eateries offer the most true-to-the-culture dining, and what place they would choose if they wanted a full day of quiet contemplation and harmony with nature.
Fire Wardens
A city should always have a safety wing in their work force. This includes a police force, a fire warden, and some other, less obvious people. The fire warden sets out the safety rules to try and prevent, and decrease the likeliness of a fire starting. They will set rules, describe what to do in case a fire does start, and send out a firemen team to put out fires. He will also help train and hire the firemen, as well as show them how to wear attire like the fire warden vest. Fires can be devastating to some cities, so it is very important to have someone to know what to do.
The Last Hour
I would spend this last hour getting in touch with as many family and friends as I could and saying quickly, “I just called to remind you that I love you!” My first call might take up most or all of that time, because my son is in prison and the bureaucracy would take at least that long to let me get through to him probably. I would put him first because he is the one who needs to hear it the worst. My daughter would be next and my elderly mother and my sister quickly after that. I could not waste time prioritizing beyond that. If there was still remaining time I would just follow my whims and dial up as many family and friends as quickly as possible to get that last drop of love to them.
