Fire fighters are regarded as important to the community as they can greatly help the community when a place is engulfed in flames. Many of them have a fire hose which are of high quality and have the potential to put out fierce fires. It can save your life. There are many different types including industrial, commercial and residential. It is a good idea to have one as it can prevent disastrous consequences. They vary in size and price. It is imperative that there is adequate space to house fire hoses. They can be purchased online or from fire safety stores.

If I had to change something about my house, that would be to definitely get a second bathroom. We have one bathroom that is the size of a walk in closet. This is one bathroom for seven people. I don’t want anything fancy, and I don’t need double sinks, but I would like to be able to stand up and turn around without bruising my elbow off the cabinet door. I don’t even need a spa tub and I would even consent to having a washer and dryer put in there so I wouldn’t have to schlep the laundry to the basement.

I think I could answer this question better if I ever actually had time to get bored. When I was growing up, my mother never let us say we were bored or she would find something for us to do. I think that has carried over to this day because I always find something to do to occupy my time. That could be reading a book, or working out my brain doing puzzle books or anything to keep sharp. I believe an active mind is a healthy mind. My mother would be so proud to know I say the same things to my kids. I never hear ‘I’m bored’.

My kids and love of family is what inspires me to keep going day in and day out. Without them, I don’t think my day would have as much meaning as it does right now. Sure, I am my own person and I can be by myself and be content,  but I am just happier knowing that my family is there, and they know that I am there for them whenever they need me to be. That is what makes the world go around for me. The laughter and love that I get from those funny people I call my family.

I think my favorite invention would have to actually be sliced bread. You see, I’m not one to make a loaf of bread on my own and dealing with making sure the yeast is warm enough and that is hasn’t expired and then moving on to the rising and beating down of the dough just to bake a loaf of bread to have a ham sandwich or a piece of cinnamon toast is overkill to me. While I do love the smell of baking bread, I just don’t think the effort is worth it to me any way.

If I were a time traveler, I think I would prefer to travel back in time to see how people lived, actually live through history. It would be hard for me to go forward in time, I don’t think I want to know how things would happen in the future. I would rather see how things used to be. I would love to go back in time to the fifties and start a music career and try to be an it girl like Marilyn Monroe. I think that would be a blast! Life was very different in the fifties. It would be interesting to see how I was treated.

I could confront anyone from my past, I would confront a teacher I had in sixth grade. She embarrassed me in front of the whole class because I wrote a paper on Women’s rights. She didn’t believe in Women’s rights and made me out as an inciter of violence in our school, when I was just trying to let people know how women had been treated in the past and how lucky we were to have all the rights we do now. I wish I could confront her and tell her it was wrong to embarrass me like she did in class.

I would love to go back to being carefree and not worrying about bills or how to get groceries in the house, or how to pay to fix my car or anything. I would love to not have the adult worries. Kids are always in such a rush to grow up, but they really need to slow down because the real world is harsh and cruel, and it is lots easier to just go play than pay bills or grocery shop. Life was much simpler then!

My goals in life are to be a great mom, to get completely out of debt, to finish culinary school, and to see the world. I feel like I am a good mom, I wouldn’t say I am a perfect mom, I think I do okay. I am almost completely out of debt. I had lots of school debt and that is almost gone. I think I will finish culinary school and I doubt seriously I will ever get to see the world, there just isn’t ever enough time to do everything I want to. But the other goals are completely attainable, I think.

Proper service of the fire extinguisher is very important. By pulling the pin at the top of the fire extinguisher we can allow the extinguisher to discharge. Depending upon the types of fires the fire extinguisher can dived into four categories. They are class a, class b, class c, class d. Water extinguishers are good for class a fires. They are not suitable for class d. Dry chemical extinguishers are suitable for class a, b and class c fires. Carbon dioxide extinguishers are better than dry chemical extinguishers because carbon dioxide extinguishers do not leave the harmful residue. Fire needs oxygen, heat and fuel to burn. Types of fire extinguishers remove these burning agents from the fire place by the expellant.
