We have a lot of family traditions I cherish and would like to pass them on to my children. The one I love the most is having the entire family to be together for dinner. Apart from strengthening the family bond this also helps family members to discuss things with others for their opinions. We start talking only when we are half way through our food which ensures no one over eats or under eats. Since the conversation will start half way through, each member speaks not more than 5 minutes to sum up their day,  what could have been better and what they were looking forward to achieving the next day. If a member has a problem we discuss it as a family.

Nobody can help it in the world. That is why the companies and institutions spent huge amount to prevent fire. The most common safety measurement is the fire extinguishers. There are different kinds of fire extinguishers. All types of fires cannot be extinguished by the same type of fire extinguisher. The chemicals that are used in the class B fire extinguishers vary according to their purpose. The fire extinguisher that is used to put out the fire caused by the electricity cannot be used when the fire is caused due to gas explosion. The main contents of the fire extinguishers are: Water, foam, dry powder, Carbon dioxide. To conclude, fire extinguishers are very necessary for safety irrespective of any other safety measurements you have taken.

I always wanted to go to Rome since my childhood as there is always a bit of magic in the air in-spite of the crowds and big city life. We visited the various seductive and beautiful gardens, the famous fountains, architecture which spoke of classical mythology, etc. We had checked in the Hotel De Russie and it the perfect place for us. It located near the legendary Spanish Steps, but it’s on a narrow street (Babuino), loaded with incredible shops and eating venues stretching from the Piazza Del Popolo all the way to the steps.

I consider quitting alcohol for good as my greatest achievement as I was nearly on the verge on killing myself and the people I interact with. The degenerative menace of alcohol addiction crosses all societal boundaries. The problem affects every gender, every ethnic group and race. A larger percentage of people have alcohol problems. More than half of all adults have a family history of alcoholism or drinking problem. More children today, live with a parent dependent on alcohol. The future isn’t something that just happens but something WE MAKE happen as the decision(s) we make now, the action(s) we take now, shapes the future! The sooner we start, the more people can be helped; addicts transformed, lives touched, hope restored.

If I had to live under water for a long time I would prefer being a scientist and work my way to find other alternatives from water to save precious natural resources. Since the Earth is covered 75% with water and only 3% is drinkable, I am sure that the rest of the water could be used to perform research on. I would have a research station built under water and then would spend time making important discoveries for the good of human kind and the generations to come. I believe if we spend time discovering methods to harness the power of Water and the Sun we could save a lot of natural resources.

Since I do not know anybody who has actually seen heaven, I do not believe in such a place. What I believe is creating heaven on Earth instead. People have these visions that heaven is good and that they would have peace there forever. Everybody, including even the terrorists have the same notion. I believe since no body has actually seen heaven and live to tell the tale, we should have eternal peace here on Earth by working hard towards it. A self-made heaven is any day better than having just the idea of what heaven could be like.

The one thing I would say to my best friend would be that she is so indecisive! And I know I would tell her this because I have! We go out for the day and she never knows what she wants to do! I have to make all the plans. Which is hard because I am indecisive too! So two indecisive people together creates a lot of time sitting and thinking of what to do next. However, I love this about her, and would never change a thing! Her reaction, would probably be “I know.” J

The one time I gave into peer pressure would be the last day of my senior year. The tradition was everyone would smoke cigars, cigarettes, anything and everything that could be smoked. I smoked a cigar or two. I honestly would not change that day because it showed me why I don’t smoke. I just did not enjoy it like other people did. It did not make me feel happy, or sad. I didn’t feel anything at all, so now I am not even tempted to try to smoke because I know it does not do anything for me negative or positive.

The first thing I would eat would be LASAGNA! I love lasagna so much it is not even funny. I honestly can eat lasagna for a week straight and never get tired of it. It has veggies, pasta, meat, and cheese all in one! Almost all of the basic food groups! The second thing I would eat would be Oreo ice cream. What could be better than that on any day of the week. And it always satisfies my chocolate and sweet cravings. The last thing I would eat would be chicken enchiladas with beans and rice. No matter what Mexican restaurant I go to, I always ask for the enchilada. It is the most delicious meal in the entire world and I just can’t get enough.

In this day and age fire safety is very important. Any building or household should have an escape plan, safe exit and ways to protect oneself from exposure to the rising temperature of the fire. For example, staying low rather than on your feet will protect you from fire at times. It’s good to have an escape route and plan beforehand so god forbid when the time comes you carry it out instead of making a quick decision out of panic which may cost you your life. Fire fighters are the real life superheroes, how many times have we read the newspaper or watched the news report on television about a fire fighter risking his life to save someone else’s. While firefighters are always prepared, sometimes it’s too late. Therefore, to ensure safety any organization or structure should have a fire hose spare, smoke detectors, fire alarms and such. Although in some countries this fire safety equipment is required by law some countries do not have these laws.
