My greatest achievement resulted in a doctor yelling at me through the phone when he overheard his nurse talking to me. After learning what I had done, he wanted me in his office to have a follow-up appointment which I had delayed. Two years prior to the phone call, I had shattered my left hip. In February, 2003, I was climbing a chain link fence with my six year old son. When I put my left foot in the first link and began my climb, I somehow gave myself a hairline fracture which was misdiagnosed. A month later, while visiting Oregon, I was pivoting on my crutches in the middle of the night and lost my balance. When I saw the xray later that day, the head of the femur was completely and smoothly separated by the width of my pinky!

Dorgard and Its Usefulness
Dorgard is a preventive device for spreading fire. Dorgard is useful to prevent fire spreading all over the building. It helps to close the door automatically when fire spread in a room or area. In most of the cases fire spread through the whole building because of lack of preventive systems. The dorgard is very useful especially in business. In business dorgard spares are useful because the fire may destroy the whole business system and documents. If dorgard is available it prevents the spreading of fire. The invention of this device is a very good remedy for safeguard from spreading of fire and thereby keeps the things undestroyed.
Sea Star: A Creature to Answer My Humanly Desires
If I were to live under water for two years, I would consider being a sea star (star fish). Living in Southern California for most of my life and studying zoology, I appreciate their qualities. Sea stars are physically strong. They are difficult to pry off the rocks were they live. Predators have to WORK to win. If they lose an arm, it will regenerate. Their movements are slow, methodical, almost calculated. Sea stars do not rush or waste time and effort. The beautiful varieties and world-wide intertidal habitats are aesthetically pleasing. Imagine the changing views: the other sea stars and “home” during low tide and high tide. Ultimately, life as a sea star would be the answer to my desires and weaknesses as a human. I could look unique and be appreciated for that. I could live in a place with a variety of pleasant stimuli. Physically, I would be strong enough to withstand attacks and recover from serious injuries. Life would not be rushed. I would be at peace.
Grandchildren
Eventually, she would be able to play with her grandchildren in ways that she couldn’t from her wheelchair. We maintain that he had waited to “celebrate” their 35th wedding anniversary, although he was semi comatose, before he permitted himself to quit fighting. He died two weeks later. It was hard for my mom without my dad. Theirs was a Leave it to Beaver/1950’s type marriage. My dad retired at a young age and they were together all the time for almost 20 years. After he died, she was lonely. She still had two daughters living at home. Then we began to care for her as her health declined. I have imagined them being reunited in Heaven, actually walking quickly toward each other. Running would have been too much of a display of affection, but both were able to walk independently! Neither had been able to do that for a long time. My dad waited for her. Later, I imagined them in the family living room, dancing. This was a gift from my dad to my mom. It was something she always liked to do, but my dad was not coordinated and did not like to dance. It was also too affectionate. My dad loved my mom, so he would give this gift to her during their living years. I remember this. In Heaven, he would also give this gift to her, but this time it was perfect for both of them.
Heaven: The End of Sickness
Heaven? I have thought about Heaven a lot, especially after my parents’ deaths from debilitating, long term illnesses. In Heaven, health and relationships are returned to perfection. This is based upon what I feel in my heart and my understanding of God’s promises. My father died in 1988 from ALS (Lou Gherig’s Disease) and my mom died in 2003 from a combination of congestive heart failure with complications from diabetes and emphysema. I was relieved when they both were freed from their binds. I thanked the nurse and God when I received the call that Mom had died. Finally, she could walk and breathe easily without the oxygen hoses. Finally, she would be with my dad again.
I would tell her that she is too stubborn
I would tell her that she is too stubborn and she should just let go of all her insecurities and let people who are older and wiser than her give her advice. Those people are only love her and want her to have the best possible life without making common mistakes that create a negative path. I have already told this to my best friend and her reaction was not very pleasant. She was angry with me and she pointed out my flaws. But my theory on that behavior is, if it all wasn’t true, why would she be getting so defensive about it?

When I was a senior in high school
I caved into peer pressure when I was a senior in high school. I decided to drink alcohol. At the time I was dealing with an unsupportive and stubborn parent and had no way of releasing my emotions or letting go of the pain of divorce. After that it became my way of dealing with depression, pain, sadness, and anger. I wish I could take it back now because it took away a year of all the knowledge I had gained as a writer. Suddenly, I forgot certain words from my vocabulary and it took me longer to interpret things. It affected my career.
These so called marshalls
A fire marshal is part of every fire department in the United States. She/he may have even started as a fire fighter or as a cop. A fire marshal has many duties. One such example is that of a fire. If a fire occurs in a home, he/she will go into the home and try to determine what caused a fire and where it started, another is checking for fire safety and making sure all fire codes are up to code along with the fire marshall hi vis. In most cases fire marshals can do arrests if a case they are working on involves arson (meaning someone meant to start a fire in order to hurt someone else).
I would eat romaine lettuce
If I had to eat three things for the rest of my life, I would eat romaine lettuce, chicken breast, and pineapple. Romaine lettuce has enough of a carb to keep me energized, but has no calories. So I can essentially fill up faster, without gaining any weight. Chicken is a lean, tasty meat and great source of protein. Pineapple is good my blood type, which is O, plus is has the little bit of sweetness we sometimes all desire. All of these things can give me the necessary nutrition to keep me healthy, lean and energized. I can make salads out of all those ingredients!
Estes Park
I think one of the most beautiful places I have ever been was Estes Park, CO. My father and I took a drive through the Rocky Mountain National Park. There we experienced the white-tipped mountains and the run-off trickling off the melting ice caps. The place smelled of pine and the air was cool and crisp. And every now and again you will be driving and see a herd of elk bedding on the hillside. The elk will be in velvet. Some are even close enough for you to almost touch. I loved it there because it was just so pure and clean; untouched.
